North Star Nerdlesque believes in the power of storytelling, chosen family, and joyful rebellion. Our stages are spaces where weirdness is celebrated, consent is sacred, and everyone deserves to feel seen and safe — onstage and off.
Right now, many members of our broader community — especially immigrants — are living with fear and uncertainty due to increased ICE activity. While we don’t have a magic spell to fix this, we do believe in sharing knowledge, resources, and solidarity. (Because knowing is half the battle.)
Below is a link to a spreadsheet of trusted Minnesota-based organizations providing legal support, advocacy, mutual aid, and community defense. We’re using a shared document so the information can be updated quickly as needs and resources change.
We honor the full spectrum of feelings: grief, rage, exhaustion, and hope. We believe joy, art, and community care are not side quests; they’re core gameplay. North Star Nerdlesque stands for dignity, inclusivity, and the right for everyone to exist safely and fully in our shared world.
No one fights alone.
